A Pony Named Olga founded 2005 in Berlin with Heini Heimpel (vocals/ guitar) and Stephan Fleck (drums). Later came Lloyd Clark of the Kamikaze Queens to complete the formation performing and recording today.
A Pony Named Olga is a hilarious mix between cowpunk and rock polka with extreme stage performance.
The most recent recording “ The Black Album” deals with darker issues featuring songs such as “What you Prey”, “It Makes No Difference” and “666/13”. Then with the humor side “Girl Taller Than Me” and “Luxury Girl“.
The Band has now performed hundreds of shows in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Poland, France and in the Czech Republic. And now planning its first U.S. tour In March 2014 and extending it to the SXSW International Music Conference.
